The Return of the King
This is the amazing film of this year (even tho its coming to an end!) Jackson finishes off the trilogy in style and a damn good style too. i will avoid telling you too much about how FANTASTIC Orlando was and that his "MOVE" in this film was far superior to that of the other two. Return of the King is the finishing journey for Frodo and the ring - and to be honest i was on the edge of my seat throughout! there was not a dry seat in the house! having said that tho - i'd chose a cinema with nice seats as it is a long one!
Merri, Pippin , gimli, legolas, aragorn, gandalf and the rohan and gondor crew are followed in there battles to win back or protect middle earth. Aragorn is as impressive as previously, where as the role of arwen (Liv) is minimal but heart renching. Eyowin on the other hand become the heroin of the hour. WIth out giving too much away, this film satisfys on many levels - its utterly fantastic. If you have not enjoyed the other two you will find this film hard to bear because of its length, but jackson has made Tolkiens trilogy for everyone and it will dissapoint you to know its not out on dvd till mid next year!

Album of the week (22/12/03)
Pink - Try this. All those of you who hacve the other albums and thought that pink has gone from bad to worse (well her social life has) have a ray of light with her new album. It does reflect her need to be a punk princess in some places but she really does stay clear from her cheesy "attitude full" rnb numbers which frankly trashed up her first album. Not that i know much about rock, but the tracks OMG and Save my life are foot tapping (sorry terrible words there) and some other tracks are quiet moving. Put it this way - the album may not be worth buying right now but borrowing at least to see whether or not she does herself justice! I think so...
